Coronado Bay Bridge

Thursday, October 3, 2024: Coronado Ferry Landing, Box luncheon, Narrated Harbor Excursion. Departs hotel @ 10:45. Returns by 15:30

The group would enjoy Coronado, including the sweeping view from the Coronado Bay Bridge, looking over the harbor, all the way to the entrance at Point Loma, on one side, and looking to Mexico on the other. The Ferry Landing at Coronado, is a small village of one of a kind shops and eateries, the views are postcard perfect. Everyone receives a box lunch to enjoy at various tables and chairs throughout the Landing.

We will proceed back to the waterfront, and board a special ship for a narrated harbor tour, passing by four military bases, and passing under the Coronado Bridge, with many excellent photo opportunities,throughout the entire trip.

Friday, October 4, 2024: Mount Soledad Veteran’s Memorial, La Jolla. Sit down luncheon at the Bali Hai Restaurant, Shelter Island. Departs the hotel @ 10:00 Returns by 1500

The Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial is a one of a kind in the world. Located at 900 feet above sea level, with a sweeping 360 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, San Diego, and looking south all the way to Mexico.

Plenty of time for pictures and up close observation, with a beautiful tribute to all military branches.

Following the memorial, we will proceed to Shelter Island, over looking the harbor, and enjoy a luncheon at the famous Bali Hai restaurant, dessert and beverage included. The view from the restaurant has been voted one of San Diego’s finest dining views.
