Franklyn Day is a 30 year veteran of the US Navy (1957-1987). He has been making models since he was four, starting with his father working on balsa wood models in 1944. “There was no plastic back then, only balsa wood was available,” and wartime restrictions limited the metal that could be used for model making.

Frank has made over a hundred models for clients across the country, and some of his works are on display at the Wright Patterson Airforce Base Museum in Ohio.
